2020 Chevrolet C8 Corvette Revealed

The new 2020 Chevrolet Corvette mid engine C8 revealed. The 2020 Chevrolet Corvette gets a 6.2-liter LT2 naturally aspirated V8 engine that makes 495 hp and 470 nm torque with the optional exhaust system. The rev limiter remains at 6600 rpm. Chevrolet claims that the Z51 performance package will go from 0-100 km/h in less than 3.0 seconds.

Chevrolet C8’s structure is all made from an aluminum except only two carbon fiber pieces a rear bumper beam and an underbody close out panel made from carbon fiber. All Corvette C8’s have a dry sump lubrication system, and most of its internals remain the same as the LT1’s. Chevrolet C8’s dry weight is about 1662 kg.

The FE1 trim level is the base car, which will be the one that starts under $60,000. The FE3 is the next level of performance, which includes the Z51 package. The Corvette C8 Z51 Performance Package includes; Michelin PS4 performance tires, performance suspension, adjustable threaded spring seats, larger brake rotors With Z51 logo on calipers, enhanced cooling, ELSD with specific axle ratio, rear spoiler and front splitter, front brake cooling inlets, performance exhaust system, magnetic ride control with PTM (optional).
