2020 Honda Civic Type R Facelift

Honda revealed the 2020 facelift Civic Type R although the changes are small but there is a new two versions. In addition to the base version of the Civic Type R, Honda offers a daily looking Sport Line version and more track focus lightweight Limited Edition version. Civic Type R coming with turbocharged 2.0 liter engine still makes the same power figures about 315 hp and 400 nm torque and the gearbox option is still six speed manual.

Civic Type R Sport Line version comes with 19 inch wheels with a dark gray finish, v shaped spokes and a small trunk spoiler at the rear. Honda Civic Type R Sport Line features a gray accent line lower edge of the body and the seats inside are black with red stitching, the steering wheel in Alcantara. 

Civic Type R Limited Edition is the lightweight and more track focused version. Limited Edition Civic Type R will be available in just one color Phoenix Yellow and will be produce totally 1000 units. Limited Edition looks same as facelift Civic Type R version the visual, technical upgrades such 20 inch wheels and redesigned grille, lighter two piece front brake rotors, reprogrammed for the adaptive shocks and recalibrated the steering. European version will be lighter with elimination of the factory radio and air conditioning systems. Civic Type R Limited Edition weights reduced about 47 kg compared to the base version of the Civic Type R.
