The new W223 S-Class Sleeker and more rounded than before, interior of the car has four touchscreens, the largest being a 12.8 inch infotainment screen comes standard, four horizontally new air vents sit on top of the dash, the latest voice assistant carries over MBUX system understands up to 27 different languages, 3D enabled driver’s display, 2 head up displays with augmented reality, attention assist, upholstery choices, apart from other custom options, Burmester high-end 4D 1,750W surround sound system brings 30 loudspeakers and eight resonators. The new steering wheel comes with capacitive hands-off recognition.
The new S500 gets a turbocharged 3.0-liter inline six cylinder engine has a starter generator with 48 volt mild hybrid EQ boost system 429 hp and 384 lb-ft the S580 twin turbocharged V8 produces 469 hp and 516 lb-ft. There are two diesel options 286hp S350d that’s available with rear wheel drive or four wheel drive. S400d with 330hp that comes as standard with four-wheel drive. S580e plug-in hybrid model at a later date.
