BMW M8 Competition Coupé and Convertible
BMW finally revealed the new M8 Competition developed by the M division. The new M8 Competition is the Mercedes-Benz S-Class coupé rival. The M8 Competition coupé and M8 Competition Convertible produces 625 hp and peak torque of 750 nm from a twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 engine. 0 to 100 km/h is just only 3.2 seconds for coupé 3.3 seconds for convertible. The body of the M8 comptetiton looking more aggressive than the standart M850i xDrive, the front wheel arches are also unique for M8 and the rear spoiler looks meaner with the propotions of the M8. M8 Competition Convertible multi-layer fabric roof opens just in a 15 seconds.
The new M8 Competition badging features on the car’s rear, at the back of the M8 model the exhaust system include quad exhaust tailpipes and reprofiled bumpers are seen. The adaptive suspension damping gets an M-spec overhaul, and 20-inch light alloy wheels are standard.
Interior there are some specific leather upholstery and a standard options with head-up display to the upgraded 12.3-inch digital instrument cluster, and a 10.25-inch freestanding iDrive infotainment system. The new red M1 and M2 buttons on the steering wheel you have M-spec HUD options, with drivetrain options and playing with the M-Modes. Also on offer is a 1,375-watt Bowers & Wilkins Diamond sound system. The M8 goes on sale in September.
