Koenigsegg Gemera Hybrid 4 Seater Revealed

Koenigsegg has officially unveiled Gemera its latest four seater entirely new category of megacar. Koenigsegg announced that only 300 Gemera will be produced worldwide. “The Gemera is a completely new category of car where extreme megacar meets spacious interior and ultimate environmental consciousness,” CEO and founder Christian von Koenigsegg said. “We call it a Mega GT.” The design was inspired by Koenigsegg’s first prototype the 1996 CC. The design language on Gemera inspired by the shape of an egg in the front you can see a large grille aerodynamic fins the rear design with narrow LED headlights and the wheels are the newest nine spoke Koenigsegg’s carbon fiber wheels.

Koenigsegg Gemera has 2.0 liter three cylinder twin turbo freevalve engine, 800 volt battery with a 50km range in electric only mode. It’s powered by three electric motors, produces 1,700 hp and 3500Nm of torque and reaches 0-100km/h is only in 1.9 seconds with a top speed of 400km/h. Koenigsegg Gemera in a pure electric driving mode at speeds about 186mph, 15-kWh battery pack can power 50 km before the combustion engine takes over. Koenigsegg claims the mix of all wheel steering, drive and all wheel torque.

Gemera will comfortably fit four large adults plus luggage interior seats are made from carbon fiber monocoques.  seats that are heated and cooled, the front and rear have digital touchscreens to control both three climate zones and entertainment, the hi-fi audio system is a premium 11 speaker and dual wireless phone chargers, onboard Wi-Fi and more. Koenigsegg has designed for worldwide homologation with six smart airbags, stability control, ABS and an ADAS 2.0 driver-assistance system. Koenigsegg plans to build 300 Gemera Hybrid Mega GT.
