Mazda Celebrates 100th Anniversary Special Editions

Mazda was founded 1920 in Hiroshima Japan. 2020 is the year of company’s 100 years of the Mazda originally named Toyo Cork Kogyo Company. Ltd. before dropping cork from its name seven years later and moved from machine tooling into vehicle production. Mazda celebrates 100th anniversary special editions. 

R360 Coupe four seater, two door model introduced its first daily passenger car in 1960 and it has 356cc air cooled 16 hp engine was offered with an automatic transmission. R360 Coupe gives an inspiration for several 100th anniversary editions of Mazda’s current models. The 100th anniversary special edition models have white body and a red roof two colour design combination like the iconic R360 Coupe model. 

Lineup consists Mazda2, Mazda3, Mazda6, MX-5, MX-5 RF, CX-3, CX-30, MX-30, and the CX-5. 100th anniversary edition models are painted in a pearlescent shade of white, with a burgundy leather seats and carpets inside. The 100th anniversary special editions will also feature several bespoke touches include a unique a badge ”100 Years 1920-2020” will be proudly displayed on the burgundy floor mats, key fob and embossed into the headrests, front fender badging, specific wheel caps, and inscribed burgundy carpeting. The 100th anniversary special edition MX-5 convertible comes with a dark cherry fabric roof.
