2022 BMW 2 Series Coupe revealed, BMW 2 Series Coupe is only the second generation of 2 Series and a bit in longer, wider, wheelbase, and wheel track and also got lower. Lineup for the new 2 Series Coupe includes rear wheel drive models 220i, 220d, 230i and M240i xDrive. BMW will be produce the RWD version of the M240i. 

The new M240i has an eight speed Steptronic transmission with the xDrive version, The RWD version will be Steptronic Sport version of the gearbox with paddles on the steering wheel. There are some design touches on the new 2 series but its bigger than the original 2002 but reminds us the legendary sports coupe The Hofmeister kink is back like 2002. BMW designers not choose big grille like the new 4 Series coupe’s but this size of the grille design size and looks much better overall with the proportion of the car. 2022 BMW 2 Series Coupe has near 50/50 front and rear weight balance and the chassis stiffened by %12 new aluminum suspension arms and swivel bearings. 2022 BMW 2 Series Coupe has the same eight-speed ZF automatic transmission,

2022 BMW 2 Series M240i xDrive has 382 hp and 500 nm turbocharged six-cylinder engine. BMW says it snaps to 60 mph in 4.1 seconds, driving all four wheels through an eight-speed Steptronic gearbox. The BMW 220i has 2.0 liter turbocharged four cylinder engine, makes 184 hp, 300 nm of torque. The BMW 220d has 2.0 liter turbo diesel,  makes 190 hp and 400 nm of torque. The BMW 230i has another 2.0 liter turbo four cylinder engine but makes 255 horsepower and 300 nm.
